C8H19NSi2 is a colorless transparent liquid non-toxic, and soluble in ethyl acetate, toluene, cyclohexane, and organic solvents which use in liquid silicone rubber curing.

Note: C8H19NSi2 in liquid silicone rubber curing is used to treat fumed silica (2% – 5% of the usual recommended dosage), and the treated silica becomes hydrophobic from hydrophilic and has a better affinity with raw rubber enhancing the dispersion of the silica in the lsr liquid silicone rubber matrix and reduces agglomeration. Nevertheless, it can be used as a ceramic surface treatment agent. It can be used as a synthetic intermediate for medical and other chemicals. It can also be used as a coating additive and can be used for liquid silicone rubber, liquid silicone rubber gel, and vinyl silicone resin manufacturing.
